during the third semester, the Canyon Hyper Bike was created as a collaborative project exploring the limits of performance in cycling. The concept envisions a hyper bike capable of reaching significantly higher speeds than conventional bicycles potentially extending into high-speed environments such as the Autobahn. This raised a key challenge: safety at extreme speeds. To address this, the design introduces “safety blades” integrated structural elements designed to manage and redirect impact forces. These components are not only functional but also shape the visual identity of the bike. The workflow began with hand sketches, followed by digital refinement in Photoshop. Initial 3D development was done in Autodesk Alias, and later transitioned to Blender for faster iteration and visualization. The final model and animation were completed in Blender.
