Polestar Surger was initiated between the first and second semester in 2023 as part of a self-motivated exploration and submission to the Polestar x Hot Wheels Design Contest. The project was driven by a long-standing personal fascination with Hot Wheels and its expressive, boundary-pushing design language. Designing a Hot Wheels car has always been a personal ambition of mine making this project not just a competition entry, but a meaningful step toward that goal. Although the project was not selected as a winning entry, the experience itself was highly valuable offering the opportunity to test ideas, take creative risks, and engage with a design challenge driven purely by passion.
